LUCA CASTIGLIONI, Uguaglianza battesimale e differenze carismatiche.

The Pauline perspective – explored in the previous article – has enabled the articulation of the baptismal equality of believers (and potentially of all people) with the recognition of their differences, understood in a charismatic sense. Based on this preposition, the present contribution investigates these dimensions, focusing on the relationship between women and men at the origins of Christianity, through the study of two areas highly meaningful to the extent that both Paul and the subsequent Pauline literature have directly considered them: common prayer and married life. In this sense, the first letter to the Corinthians (11,2-16; 14,33b-36 e 7,1-9.39-40), the letter to the Ephesians (5,21-33) and the first letter to Timothy (2,8-15) express a development described and interpreted above all in its ecclesial repercussions, both past and present.

ISACCO PAGANI, Suggerimenti d’autore.

This article aims to study Jn 14,1-14, beginning with some of its literary characteristics. A brief presentation of the passage’s composition is followed by an examination of the use of symbolism, metaphor and misunderstanding within the text. The reader is then supplied with an essential definition for each of these terms along with some methodological criteria and subsequent exegetical analysis. The objective is to examine how John’s use of these literary devices contributes to the communication of the Gospel message.

ARISTIDE FUMAGALLI, Il giudizio morale sulle azioni umane.

Following on from a previous historical-critical survey of moral doctrine regarding the fontes moralitatis, this further study aims at tackling the questions raised therein so as to outline a renewed theory of the moral judgment of human action. To begin with, considering the present Magisterial invitation regarding the inseparable connection that exists between the final end of the moral agent and the object of the action (I), the aim is sought by delineating a symbolic theory of action (II), to which prudential discernment as a virtuous way of judgment corresponds.

This study aims at exploring the christocentric form of the revelation of God, discussing the theme of the predestination of Jesus. The evaluation of the scholastic and manualistic setting out of the question will help to demonstrate the implications regarding God’s being and the unity of his plan of creation and salvation. Having taken into account the criticism raised by Karl Rahner, the article goes on to make a comparison with the recent theoretical proposal of the Dominican Giuseppe Barzaghi, intermediary between the two parts examined. The author’s anagogical approach in fact aims at gathering the best part of the classical perspective as well as the importance given to such a system of thought. As his anagogical approach permits, understanding the logic of revelation from God’s viewpoint opens up the discussion on the incidence of Jesus’ story, the incarnate Word, not just regarding creation but God’s very self.

This article underlines the specificity of the proclamation of the word of God in the liturgical context, “reference point for a faith-filled understanding of sacred Scripture”, according to the definition of Verbum Domini, wherein it resounds with exceptional efficacy. Having presented the New-Testamentarian and Patristic foundations of liturgical exegesis, the author offers, by means of fitting exemplifications, some interpretative criteria for the selection of some of the Roman and Ambrosian Lectionary pericopes.
